Mysterious History, Unique Patina, Bronze Buddha
Description
This Buddha is cast in solid bronze and shows the deep, natural surface corrosion that occurs only after many decades of exposure to soil and moisture. The thin-walled construction is typical of older Southeast Asian bronze casting, and several collapsed wall sections reveal genuine metal degradation rather than any modern artificial aging.
The surface displays compacted soil, mineral accretions, and layered corrosion products—clear evidence of long-term burial. Despite the damage, the sculpture retains its presence and character: a raw, archaeological object with strong visual impact.
This is an authentic, aged bronze with a unique ruin-like appearance, ideal for collectors, interior design, photography, studios, or anyone who appreciates the aesthetic of true historical decay.
