A hand-finished, hollow-cast gilt-bronze Buddha from Nepal, created in a late 18th-century Himalayan workshop context. The sculpture sits in meditation on a double lotus base, cast integrally with the figure, showing continuous mineral patina layers and micro-level salt crystal deposits formed through long-term environmental exposure. The modelling and finishing of the face, hair curls, ears, and robe lines reflect traditional handwork rather than industrial precision. The interior confirms a clean pre-modern hollow casting structure, consistent with classical fire-gilded Himalayan bronzes.
