This ceremonial wooden spoon originates from the Guro culture of central Côte d’Ivoire. It is carved from a single piece of wood and features a kneeling female figure forming the handle, with a hand shaped bowl at the lower end. The surface shows natural patina and wear consistent with age and handling. A vertical crack is visible at the front of the figure beneath the breasts.
