This authentic South Indian bronze statue represents a local village deity or guardian figure, likely from Tamil Nadu or Karnataka, dating to the early 20th century (ca. 1920–1940). The sculpture is solid cast in bronze and features a powerful male figure with a curled staff, long beard, and prominent facial features, framed by a decorative aureole.
